Christmas Pictures
We have had a great Christmas! We got to be with my parents until Monday. Then we flew to Toledo to be with Sarah’s family. I got the chance to relax, and Sarah got the chance to shop……she did a great job of budgeting…..for real! I have taken this time to forget my razor. My mom and mother-in-law absolutely HATE facial hair! I promise it will be gone by Sunday! LOL!
I hope you all had a great Christmas. I’m sure you all got gift receipts so you can take back what you didn’t want or what will not fit. I actually got some really nice stuff this year. Sarah is excited with her gifts as well. Oh well…that’s all for right now.

Christmas Season

Tomorrow, Sarah and I will be getting together with my family. This will be the first of about 3 gatherings this Christmas season. All the presents, the hustle and bustle. It can get overwhelming. Remember Christ this Christmas. He is the reason for it all. When you are rushing to the store on Christmas Eve because you forgot that one thing your wife or kids really wanted, remember that Jesus is the reason for this and every season. When you are driving an insane distance to visit family members, remember Jesus is the reason. When your bank account is depleted by the time New Years rolls around, remember Jesus is the reason for this Christmas season.
I believe keeping Jesus in the front of our minds will help us enjoy these next couple of weeks. Do not get too busy for Him.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Get ready to take all those unwanted presents back to the store. Sometimes you get more money (or credit) if you don’t have your receipt. That’s just food for thought.

Movie Review–The Bourne Ultimatum

I can honestly say that the Bourne movies have to be my favorites. I absolutely love them. I love the story line, the action, and the cleanliness of all three movies. The Bourne Ultimatum hit video stores this past Tuesday, and I saw it asap.
I will not give the movie away, but I will try to spark your interest. Jason Bourne has been a government assasin in the first two movies on the Treadstone project. He has killed several other assasins that were assigned to kill him. In the third movie, Bourne wants to trace back to the beginning of his government job. He is now a part of the new “Treadstone” called Blackbrier. He is mistakenly detected by the CIA while attempting to talk to a reporter. That puts the CIA on his case again. Bourne seeks to find answers to his past while being chased by killers and CIA agents. He gets some help from an unlikely source along the way.
This is a great movie. In my opinion, this is the best one of the three. The chase was amazing. Go buy it today. The collector’s edition 3-pack is available at Blockbuster.

Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC
Our Bible class took a trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC this past Saturday. I had never been there before. It was a great experience. It is amazing that the house was built in the late 1800’s, yet it had such great design.
Sarah had fun scaring strangers as they walked through. LOL!

You know THOSE people….

Do you know what I mean when I say “those kind of people?” You know, those people that you just don’t like that much? You know what I’m talking about. You wouldn’t dare say it to their face unless backed into a corner, but you really can’t stand being around them. Yep, we all have them. I just wanted to interrupt your joyous holiday season to bring you back to reality. There will always be people like that. I guess I’m just going to have to get used to it. They make me want to scream though (see above picture.)
Do you ever wish you could just say everything you think and feel? I come close often, but I never really get to let it all out! This post is my form of venting. Thank you for being a good friend and allowing me to vent on you.
Now back to your joyous holiday season!
“Joy to the world….” I love the Christmas season! It’s a time to give and see others happy! Everyone that you come in contact with will be kind and sweet! They will not be “that kind” of a person! It’s all going to be wonderful this holiday season! “Rockin’ around the Christmas tree….”
I love you guys! Don’t forget about Julio! Write him a letter! Mine goes out tomorrow!

Pray for my friend….
You know, I have said before that good friends are really hard to find. I have several good friends….one of which is Julio Medina. We were roommates my senior year, and we worked together for about a year or so. We developed a great friendship. Julio has joined the United States Air Force. He will be going to basic training this Monday. I am going to miss this guy. He has always been there for me, and I will always be there for him. I want to ask each of you to keep him in your prayers. If your church has a prayer sheet, please add him to it.
Thanks, Julio for being a great friend….have fun and kill some terrorists! LOL!
